The Imagineers

was launched in March 2010 in Adelaide by face and body artists

Wendy Fantasia

and

Toni Anne Smallman

.

The name The Imagineers captures the adventurous and whimsical nature of many

body painting designs

; anything is possible!

Toni Anne has spent the past thirteen years in Adelaide creating amazing faces for a many and varied clientele, while also running a thriving party/entertainment business.  In the past three years she has evolved her art form to using the human body as a living canvas. Recent high profile

live art body painting

has been created for the 2009 Hans Heysen Exhibition and SALA Festival, and painting body models with the Tour Down Under winning riders jerseys for Stage 2 (Gawler 2010). This woman can organise anything.

Wendy has been face painting for the past fifteen years starting in Melbourne, Victoria, moving to Adelaide in 2008. She was the driving force behind the Theatre Costume Shop's 'Enchanted Winterland' Face & Body Painting Exhibition & Competition (SALA August 2009). This brought together some of Adelaide’s leading face and body artists for the first time to participate in a fun and energetic free public event.

In 2009 Wendy competed in Tim Gratton's

SA Body Painting Championships

where she placed equal third.  2010 competitions include the Melbourne ABAA's in February where she gained the

Encouragement Award for Body Painting

. As part of the 2010 Fringe Festival in Adelaide, she competed in Tim Gratton's first

World Speed Painting Championship

, winning her heat and also the Grand Final.

The

Melbourne Body Art Competition

was held in April where she took out the Supreme Award. The prize for this is a trip to NZ in Oct 2010 to compete in the NZ Body Art Awards.
